My mom and dad,

Craig and Mary Hills.

My mother was an amazing special education instructor and my inspiration to become a teacher. Dad's personality filled every room he walked into. I am so blessed to have had such wonderful parents to shape my life.

We lost my dad three years ago to cancer.

There will never be a man filled with such faith and life.

He taught me to do every thing with passion.

My Hometown

Grand Haven, Michigan.

Grand Haven was the best town to grow up in as a child. My family and I spent a great deal of time at the beach. I have many fond memories of watching storms roll in over Lake Michigan with my father.

After graduating from Grand Haven High School, I attended Grand Valley University. I majored in Elementary Education and Social Studies.

My first teaching job was in Grand Haven, teaching Fifth grade.

Our daughter fills our lives with laughter and pride.

We can always count on her to make us laugh,

and her academic and sport accomplishments

amaze Tom and I and fill us with pride. We spend a great deal of time cheering her on from the stands, whether it be basketball, track or volleyball.

Benjamin Daniel Craig Willis

Until my son Ben I never knew you could play basketball all year long!

Not only is he an incredible Basketball player, but he makes me proud in all he does. He will either grow up to be a lawyer or a sports announcer, no one can argue or talk as much as he can!! The sky is the limit for my boy.
